SDG 8 aims to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth and decent work for all. The role of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth is vital. By nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset, providing resources, guidance, networking opportunities and supporting innovative ventures, we encourage and support youth entrepreneurship.

We actively advocate for the formalization and growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs), which are key drivers of employment and economic growth, as a means of job creation. Whilst collaborating with strategic institutions across the African continent to sponsor internships for program participants. These partnerships provide valuable hands-on experience, expose participants to real-world challenges, and facilitate knowledge transfer. We believe the key to building a skilled workforce is connecting the youth with established institutions. 

By promoting intra-African trade through the domestication of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), AFEL encourages trade integration, investment, and economic cooperation among African countries. Investing in the potential of African youth and providing them with the necessary tools and opportunities,  can drive economic transformation and create a better future for Africa.
