The Africa Future Economic Leaders Programme is a pioneering initiative focused on fostering economic literacy in Africa and engaging youth in the AfCFTA processes. By bridging the gap between young people and policy-making, we provide hands-on experiences through our dynamic programs.

Programmes

Economic Impact Challenge

A continent-wide competition empowering African students to propose innovative solutions to economic challenges. Expanding from Nigeria to all African Union Member States, the challenge aligns with AfCFTA and SDGs 8 & 9, fostering gender parity and grassroots economic advocacy.

Capacity Building Programs

A hands-on initiative equipping young entrepreneurs with essential skills to navigate Africa’s economic landscape. Through workshops, mentorship, and experiential learning, it addresses barriers in trade, particularly for women and youth, fostering business growth, economic resilence and financial inclusion.

Policy Advocacy for Youth

A strategic initiative bridging the gap between youth and policymakers in Africa’s economic discourse. By working with AfCFTA state parties, it amplifies youth voices in trade, fosters inclusive policy-making, and empowers young leaders to drive economic transformation and trade reforms.
